Ofsted and SIAMS
Ofsted (Office for Standards in Education) inspects all state schools in England at least every three years. After the inspection is done, Ofsted publishes a report which is available to the public. When assessing a school, Ofsted inspectors consider:
- The school’s assessment of its own performance
- Performance data
- Pupils’ work
- Lesson observations
- Input from parents
- Discussions with pupils and staff
You can find our current Ofsted report here or in the 'statutory information' section of our website.
What is SIAMS?
SIAMS stands for The Statutory Inspection of Anglican and Methodist Schools and is the Church of England and Methodist Church’s outworking of the requirements of section 48 of the Education Act 2005. It is a key element of the life of all Church of England and Methodist schools in England.
Our most recent SIAMS report can be found here or in the 'statutory information' section of our website.
