Thanks to everyone who brought gifts to the Harvest Festival service.  They will be transported to the local Food Bank where they will be used to support families in need around the area.

Wagtail class presented its ‘Thank You’ artwork and explanations as a collage. This was impressive as the children had only been in school for a few weeks. Robin class recited a Harvest Festival poem clearly and from memory. Kingfisher class recited Acrostic poems which were well thought out. KS2 sang a new hymn ‘Let it Grow’. Although challenging, all the children participated - not just the good singers. Owl class led Harvest prayers which included the environment as well as thanking God for food, the Harvest and the work of farmers. During the last hymn the congregation was invited to join in the singing.
All the children sang with enthusiasm.
